Visit Macklemore’s Pop-up
If you’re looking to shop this weekend, you can also check out Macklemore’s new pop-up on Capitol Hill. You can find his brand Bogey Boys as well as a vintage marketplace called Goose Magees. So shop till you drop!

Washington State Fair
The only Washington State Fair is back this year and has plenty to do and see. As in previous years, you can enjoy rides, farm animals and all kinds of delicious food. Plus, you can hear concerts from musicians like Carrie Underwood, Salt-N-Peppa, Sublime, and more.

Dawn Cerny: The things
This exhibition by Dawn Cerny refers to the novel by the French author Georges Perec from 1965 and deals with the longing for material and immaterial objects. The sculptures in the exhibition embody mindscapes and you will see many everyday objects that you recognize. We definitely recommend trying it out.

Pike Place Express Market South Lake Union
Did you know that the Pike Place Market has an express market? Doesn’t seem like a lot of people do! Located in South Lake Union, it’s back for a limited time and definitely worth a visit. Get fresh produce, flower products, and more from local vendors once a week.

The Kinsey African American Art & History Collection
This art collection celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of Black Americans from 1595 to the present day. You can see masterful paintings, sculptures, photographs, rare books, letters, manuscripts, and more that offer a comprehensive glimpse into the African American experience.

New acquisitions in contemporary art
Do you love the fry? Well, your collection is growing! You can view 7 current artworks by Juventino Aranda, Rokni Haerizadeh, Rose Nestler, Mary Ann Peters, Cauleen Smith, Anthony White and Ko Kirk Yamahira. All of these works were acquired by the museum in 2019 and are now on display together.
