Alaska Airlines announced that it will expand service to its 100th non-stop destination from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport when it opens on Jan.
The daily non-stop service to Miami International Airport provides an easy and convenient connection to flights in the Caribbean and Latin America. The South Florida airport is a major hub that houses several members of the oneworld Alaskan alliance.

Tickets for the new Seattle-Miami service are now available on the airline’s official website. With the expansion of the twice-daily non-stop service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood in the summer of 2022, Alaska will also serve another destination in South Florida.
“We landed in the perfect location for our 100th non-stop from our home airport in Seattle. Miami is a cultural hub for travelers around the world with its incredible nightlife, art, music, architecture and food, ”said Brett Catlin, Vice President of Alaska.
“With our new daily non-stop start in June, we will be connecting two cruise capitals in time for the summer and at the same time taking easy autumn trips to South Florida, the Caribbean and beyond,” continued Catlin.
From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, travelers can travel to other west coast cities, Hawaii and Mexico, while using the Mileage Plan program to earn miles for more than 20 oneworld member airlines and additional airline partners to more than 1,000 destinations around the world collect and redeem world.
Earlier this week, Alaska announced that it would advance its codeshare agreement with British Airways by expanding into 16 more cities. Since March, Alaska has added 188 additional codeshare routes through various partnerships, representing an increase of 39 percent of its routes.
