Costco is considering a second warehouse in Seattle, and the company is considering the old Sam’s Club building.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that Costco has submitted preliminary plans to the city to renovate the building at Aurora Avenue and 137th Street. Early estimates put the cost at $ 10 million.

Costco, based in Issaquah, also has locations in Lake Stevens and Pasco, as well as five other national stores planned to open next month.

MG2, a Seattle-based architecture firm, will help with renovations. It is not yet known when construction would start.
