Delta’s 12Status program, rewarding Seattle Seahawks fans for their loyalty, returns for the fifth year

Seattle Seahawks fans will be rewarded for their loyalty for a fifth year as Delta Air Lines – the Seahawks’ official airline – launched its popular 12Status program for the 2021-2022 football season after a year-long hiatus due to COVID. hangs up again -19.

“We love to reward our 12Status Seahawks fans for their loyalty like no other airline does, with over 430 million miles and more,” said Tony Gonchar, Delta Vice President – Seattle. “Fans win with the success of the team in more ways than one, so they can use their miles to look for new adventures or connect with loved ones.”

Originally introduced prior to the 2016 season, 12Status rewards Seahawks fans for team performance on the field with miles through the Delta SkyMiles program and other opportunities. For the 2021-2022 season, the program for all new and returning 12Status Members includes:

• Awarded a mile for each Seahawks passing yard during all home and away games
• Opportunity to attend an exclusive viewing party on Sunday November 14th to watch the Seahawks battle the Green Bay Packers*
• Main prize: Six members (plus one guest of their choice each) will receive travel and accommodation expenses to watch the Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, December 19th**

Miles earned under the program do not expire and can be redeemed for travel on the global Delta network and for travel with our partners, purchase of Delta Vacations packages, seat upgrades and more.

As Seattle’s largest airline, Delta offers more than 145 daily departures to nearly 50 destinations, including connections to popular international cities such as Amsterdam, Cancun, Paris, Puerto Vallarta, Seoul and Tokyo, as well as year-round connections to several cities in Alaska and Hawaii. Fans can cheer for the Seahawks on the go with nearly 70 daily flights to well-known NFL destinations such as Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles and Minneapolis.

Further program milestones are:

• 3.1 billion total miles redeemed by members since they joined the 12Status program
• 114.030 Award tickets flown by 12Status members who have earned miles since the program started
• 536 Unique destinations with award tickets that have been flown by 12 status members since the program started

SkyMiles membership is free and is required to join 12Status. 12Status is open to Washington State residents who can sign up for or re-register for their 12Status membership at 12Status.com to start earning miles the first week of the season. Existing members from previous seasons are encouraged to renew (re-register) their membership on the website prior to the first regular season game on September 12th.

For the fifth year in a row, Delta’s SkyMiles program ranked 2nd overall, beating all global airlines in US News & World Report’s annual airline loyalty program ranking. Medallion members can keep their 2020 status until January 31, 2023, which gives customers more time and flexibility to resume their travel.
