Trammell Crow Co.’s residential subsidiary, High Street Residential, is located at 63 Corner, a seven-story, transit-oriented community at 6300 Ninth Ave. NE in Seattle, groundbreaking ceremony. The project is a joint venture between High Street and a client of MetLife Investment Management.
The floor plans in corner 63 include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with balconies in select units. The communal facilities include a coworking space, a fitness center, a bicycle workshop, a garage parking lot, a dog walk and a roof terrace with a fireplace.
B + H Architects is acting as the designer of the project, while Chinn Construction is acting as the general contractor. Avenue5 Residential will provide property management services for Corner 63.
Corner 63 is 2.5 miles from the University of Washington Seattle campus and provides quick access to the Roosevelt Link Light Rail Station, which is expected to open in October.
The community is also conveniently 6 miles from downtown Seattle and less than 20 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Major employers in the Seattle Metro include The Boeing Co., Amazon, and Microsoft Corp.
In May 2021, Seattle had 25,255 rental units under construction, 74 percent of which were upscale projects, according to Yardi Matrix. Almost a third of the current projects should go online by the end of the year.
