The design committee of the Pardis project is calling for an architectural concept for the construction of an Iranian community center (Pardis) in the greater Seattle area.
This project is part of the Alefba Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to Iranian and Persian culture.
This is a great opportunity for anyone with an architecture / design background who is interested in Iranian culture / tradition and knowledge of the Seattle community.
Our plan is to use the results of this competition to present the idea to sponsors, investors and donors in order to inspire them to fund the project. The parameters of this competition are all hypothetical (including project country) and there is no guarantee that the winning design will be built.
If you are interested, please send your design intent (75-100 words) and a 3D sketch of your design concept (hand drawing or using design software) to Pardis@Alefbagroup.org.
Cash prize of up to $ 5,000 for top three winners; further details will be announced in the project launch session. (To receive the prize, winners must provide a US and Canadian bank account number.)
Original design submission (design intent and 3D sketch): September 21, 2021
Project launch online meeting: September 26, 2021
Submission of the final draft (plan, 2D, 3D views (NW and EW), views): November 10, 2021
Announcement of the winners: 3rd week of November 2021
