SEATTLE, October 22, 2021 / PRNewswire / – PitchBook, the leading data provider to the private and public equity markets, has officially unveiled The PitchBook Suites, 40 private suites that provide a premier environment for Kraken, at the Climate Pledge Arena To experience games, concerts and events. “From day one, a shared, customer-centric mentality has been the cornerstone of our partnership with PitchBook,” said Death of Leiweke, CEO of the Seattle Kraken. “We’re excited that fans understand the importance of data and technology alongside a world-class hospitality experience at The PitchBook Suites.”

As the professional sports industry continues to innovate, new capital is needed to grow sports leagues and the industry offers attractive investment opportunities for institutional investors and private equity. In addition to the NBA and MLB, other US sports leagues such as MLS and NHL have shown their willingness to allow private equity funds to buy into individual teams, suggesting that investor interest has reached an all-time high. PitchBook tracks capital flows across the entire venture capital, private equity, and M&A landscape, including public and private companies, investors, funds, investments, exits, and people. Seattle Kraken’s team owners, players, and front office staff will use PitchBook to capitalize on growth opportunities, including future expansion strategies and business development efforts.

“From the very beginning, Oak View Group, Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena have prioritized technology and innovation in building this arena and the expansion team. We share the same vision of leveraging cutting edge technology and data while putting customers and fans first. ” called John Gabbert, Founder and CEO of PitchBook. “This is what makes our partnership so special. We are creating a completely new experience for fans in this arena by integrating data and technology into a first-class customer experience.”

The private suites were designed by the Rockwell Group, an award-winning global architecture and design firm, and cantilever over the seat shell and can accommodate 16 people each. Inspired by a Seattle Loft, the suites have a bar and kitchen area, which is defined by a neutral, dark palette of materials and a sloping wooden ceiling with a view of the arena.

The Climate Pledge Arena opens for the first time with its debut concert with Coldplay October 22nd and the Kraken’s first home game against the Vancouver Canucks 23rd October. To expand PitchBook’s presence beyond the PitchBook Suites, other fan-first initiatives and a one-of-a-kind event experience include:

  • Winformation Walls – Outside the suites are two (7 feet high, 35 feet wide) interactive and multi-sensory displays. Developed in partnership with Rockwell Group’s LAB and utilizing flip disc technology, each wall utilizes live PitchBook and NHL data to tell compelling visual stories of what went on on the ice and in the arena.
  • The Enter & Exit Experience – The first floor of the parking garage transforms the traditionally overlooked parts of the journey before and after the future event.
  • The PitchBook Suite Ride – To ensure the ride to and from the arena is memorable, PitchBook has turned a coach into an extension of the PitchBook Suites. The bus brings the suite experience outside of the Climate Pledge Arena to life with high-end amenities and the same design elements as the suites.
