The Eagle Hill Consulting Seattle COVID-19 Vaccines and 2021 Workplace Survey measure employee sentiment about COVID-19 vaccines, return to work, and testing and safety protocols.

- Most workers (59 percent) support employer’s vaccination regulations before workers return to work.
- Employees support even more (66 percent) of employers who ask about employee vaccination status.
- Most employees support employers who require proof of vaccination, 61 percent support a documentation requirement.
- 67 percent of employees support employers who offer vaccinated employees incentives.
- More than two-thirds (67 percent) are in favor of employers making provisions for unvaccinated workers.
Seattle Employees increasingly support punitive measures for unvaccinated employees shows the survey.
- Almost two-thirds (61 percent) of workers say unvaccinated workers shouldn’t get special allowances for working from home, up from 50 percent in April.
- More than half of workers (56 percent) say unvaccinated workers are not allowed to travel to work, up from 52 percent in April.
- Half of workers (51 percent) say unvaccinated employees are not allowed to work with customers in person, a slight increase (49 percent) from April.
- Almost half of workers (48 percent) say unvaccinated employees shouldn’t be allowed to work face-to-face with coworkers, and this remains unchanged as of April (48 percent).
There’s widespread support below Seattle Workers for COVID-19 tests and employer’s safety protocols according to the survey.
- When it comes to social distancing, 87 percent agree that employers should require or encourage social distancing.
- When it comes to masks, 83 percent agree that employers require or encourage the use of masks.
- When it comes to temperature controls in the workplace, 79 percent say employers should encourage or require temperature controls.
- When it comes to regular COVID-19 testing for all employees, 74 percent support employers who require or encourage testing.
