The program aims to teach small business owners how to use technology solutions
SEATTLE, UNITED STATES, Nov. 10, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – Alex Peña, a U.S. Navy veteran and small business technology consultant, announced today that he will offer free technology training to customers through the end of the year.
Peña’s company, Easy Biz Tech LLC, offers a range of services that include website design; Lead generation; Customer relationship management systems or CRMs; Payment processing; Search engine optimization or SEO; digital marketing; Online Advertising; Analysis and more.
However, Peña goes beyond what traditional service providers offer their customers. He enables his customers to do the work themselves if they want. “I like to teach my customers to be self-sufficient,” said Peña. “Then they feel more confident that they can step into the future and make changes. That may seem absurd, because if you know how to do it yourself, why do you need me? That’s the thing: As I learned in the Navy, when you empower people to grow, your relationship with them becomes more mutually beneficial. We thrive together. “
He added, “My main goal is to give small businesses the confidence and knowledge to start using technology solutions to properly and profitably increase efficiency and productivity. We also offer individual technology coaching for teams and individuals who want to develop or hone their technical skills. “
A graduate of Code Fellows, Seattle’s premier tech academy, Peña also provides technology training and coaching for adults and seniors in the greater Seattle area. Peña was also successful as a serial entrepreneur. He started a handful of small businesses, including a real estate and business liquidation company and a land maintenance and landscaping company, both of which he sold for a profit.
Peña brings a wide range of military experience to his business career. After joining the Navy at the age of 18, he oversaw the computer and electrical systems of the F / A-18 Hornet and acquired a deep understanding of aircraft weapons, navigation, flight controls, countermeasures, and communications systems.
In 2008 Peña was selected for a mission to Iraq to train and empower the Iraqi people. He served as a compound controller at Camp Bucca, Iraq, which housed more than 10,000 detainees during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Peña was also responsible for approximately 500 detainees, including enforcing policies and regulations, and regularly debriefing officials and media sources.
Peña spent his last three years in the military as a recruiter responsible for achieving monthly goals in both crews and special warfare programs.
“Being able to touch, shape and change people’s lives every day has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling things I have been able to participate in during my entire service life. It also provided me with the knowledge and skills to market myself and my ideas, ”said Peña.
