Even the smallest lots on Capitol Hill attract developers. An example is a 2,400 square foot corner in an alley at 1014 E. John St., a stones throw east of Capitol Hill Station and the Broadway shopping strip. The property traded for nearly $ 1.6 million earlier this year. Atelier Drome Architecture and STS Construction are now behind the plan for a six-story residential building with 22 residential units. It will replace an old five-plex.
