Here in the beautiful Emerald City, we’re crazy about fresh, local food. We’re loyal to our favorite restaurants, standing around the block to try a new pop-up, and following food trucks around town like it’s our job.

So it’s no shock that Seattle made it to the top 10 on WalletHub’s list of “2021’s Best Foodie Cities in America”.

The personal finance website was ranked 180th largest city in the United States on 29 key metrics. Seattle ranks 9th:

  • 1st place for affordability and accessibility of highly rated restaurants
  • 1st place in Craft Breweries & Wineries per capita
  • 6. percent of residents who are fully vaccinated
  • 11th place in restaurants per capita
  • 19th place in gourmet shops per capita
  • 36th in the number of grocery stores per capita
  • 39. in coffee and tea shops per capita

Cities that beat us included Orlando, Miami, San Francisco, Austin, Sacramento, Denver, and Las Vegas – with Portland OR number 1 on the list.
