Although this year West Seattle Junction Harvest Festival is down again from the full pre-pandemic celebration on the street, one activity will be back this year – trick or treating in the business district.

While West Seattle Farmers’ Market takes place on Sunday, October 31, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at its usual place, the participating businesses will be offering trick or treating on the sidewalks during the same period. the West Seattle Junction Association is also planning additional confectionery stations.

While the ore pandemic tradition of Thanksgiving Day activities and games on an open road bonus block does NOT return this year, WSJA is once again offering you the opportunity to support local businesses by ordering tote bags – kids’ and adult versions are available here through they are sold out. WSJA thanks tote bag buyers from previous pandemic-era festivals – so far, these sales have “returned $ 95,000 to local Junction stores in 2020-21,” the organization says.

PS Harvest Fest plans also include a scavenger hunt and trivia night – details on the official website.
