Tinashe

The multi-faceted pop and R&B singer lands in Seattle to grace the city with a show. You can hear them live for the first time in 5 years! It’s going to be a show for sure and if you loved their 2021 album 333 you won’t want to miss out on this.

Seattle Queer Film Festival

The Seattle Queer Film Festival kicks off this weekend with 30 feature films, 11 short films and 11 workshops. Films come from near and far, American and international films are shown. You can find all sorts of movie themes like trans, QTBIPOC, lesbian and more.

Bohemian

If you’re tired of Netflix, why not give the opera a try instead? Sure, it’s drastically different, but this opera is pretty fun. It’s all about young Parisians enjoying the bohemian lifestyle and everything they experience. Of course, it has that operatic magic to take the performance to the next level.

Earshot Jazz Festival 2021

New acquisitions in contemporary art

Do you love the Frye? Well, your collection is growing! You can view 7 current artworks by Juventino Aranda, Rokni Haerizadeh, Rose Nestler, Mary Ann Peters, Cauleen Smith, Anthony White and Ko Kirk Yamahira. All of these works were acquired by the museum in 2019 and are now on display together.

Visit a significant piece of land art

Robert Morris’ Johnson Pit # 30 has just been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which is a big deal. It’s a first for a contemporary Land Art work, so you might as well visit it this weekend and show it some love. Who knows, it might be your new favorite piece of art.
