Seattle police overnight arrested at least three people protesting the death of Daunte Wright, a black man who was shot by a police officer outside of Minneapolis.

A group of people had gathered for a vigil outside the Seattle Police Department’s West Precinct on Tuesday evening. Police said on Twitter that they had made several announcements and encouraged the group to remain peaceful and not cause property damage.

Two people were arrested Tuesday for graffiti and one for disability.

The night before, a group vandalized and damaged several downtown stores as they headed towards the Pioneer Square neighborhood. The police warned them not to block traffic and to keep the demonstration peaceful.
