An immersive Vincent Van Gogh expertise is coming to Seattle, and tickets are already promoting out

If you’ve always wanted to immerse yourself in the world of a painting, there’s a new art show heading for Seattle this fall that you should grab tickets for for now.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will debut in the Emerald City from September, showing 360-degree projections of the work of the famous Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh to bring them to life on the walls, floors and ceilings around you .

Virtual reality experiences are also available to take you into the world of Van Gogh himself and to explain the inspiration for iconic post-impressionist works such as “Vincent’s Bedroom in Arles” and “Starry Night Over the Rhone”.

But be warned: it costs a pretty penny to get that social media cash shot. Weekday tickets start at $ 36 for adults and teenagers 13 and older and $ 19.90 for children ages 4 to 12. Weekend tickets start at $ 44.90 for adults and teenagers and $ 22.90 for children. Entry is free for children under 4 years of age.

Family tickets for two children and two adults as well as a more expensive VIP experience are also available.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) ​​also advises customers that there are four “immersive” Van Gogh exhibits touring the country and to know which event to buy tickets for. The company that hosts the Seattle show, Fever, has received several unanswered BBB complaints.

COVID-19 security measures will be in place, including limited capacity, social distancing markers, and one-way flow through the exhibit.

Similar exhibits have already been a success in many other cities around the world. Some may recognize the Instagram-worthy experience from the hit Netflix show “Emily in Paris,” where Lily Collins’ character visits a similar exhibition with her new French friends.

The organizers did not announce the exact location of the event. Tickets for the new interactive exhibition are on sale now and are going fast – some dates are already sold out.

On February 8, 2019, visitors will attend a press visit to the haunting exhibition by multimedia artist Gianfranco Iannuzzi, dedicated to the painter Vincent Van Gogh, at “l’Atelier des Lumieres”, the first digital art center in Paris.

Another art museum will open an impressive exhibition this fall. In February, the Seattle Art Museum received a charitable donation of 19 “exceptional” works of art to celebrate the legacies of local collectors Richard E. Lang and Jane Lang Davis.
