Burglars hit iconic business in Tacoma’s Hilltop area 3 times in a week – KIRO 7 News Seattle

TACOMA, Washington – Burglars raided one of Tacoma’s most iconic stores three times a week.

The owners and managers of Mr. Mac Ltd, located in the Hilltop neighborhood, informed KIRO 7 that the series of break-ins began early last week.

Burglars smashed one of the store’s front windows, grabbed clothes from the shelf and fled, KIRO 7 was told.

It happened again a few days later, and then again last Sunday.

“When they first strike you know you get it. The second time you start thinking. The third time, your thoughts are wild, ”said Pastor Gregory Christopher, president of the Tacoma Ministry Alliance.

Representatives from the store said thousands of dollars in goods were stolen.

The store’s windows are boarded up and need to be replaced.

The store invested money to add security cameras.

There were no arrests during these break-ins.
