Plate of Nations is the best way to enjoy Seattle’s most diverse eats

If you’re looking to eat out in Seattle this weekend, be sure to check out Plate of Nations. This festival is the flagship of the MLK business association and promotes independently owned restaurants in the MLK community, also known as Rainier Valley. For the next 10 days you can partake of the traditions of these restaurants and sample some of the most diverse food in town.

This year, you can dine at 15 restaurants in southeast Seattle that are participating in the Plate of Nations. The cuisine ranges from BBQ to Ethiopian to Hawaiian and more. What is special about this festival is the fact that you can do it in your own time and choose which restaurants to visit. And you can enjoy perfectly prepared menus to try a little bit of everything for an affordable price of $ 20-30.

If you end up making it big and stopping at multiple restaurants, be sure to download the Plate of Nations Passport.
