Remitly, the mobile-first provider of remittances and financial services for immigrants, today announced the acquisition of an intellectual property license for the low-code platform for conversational apps Jargon and the involvement of the talented Jargon team. Milkana Brace, Chief Technology Officer, Jonathan Burstein, Chief Technology Officer, and members of the Jargon team will bring a wealth of technical expertise and strong cultural alignment to meet Remitly’s growing customer demand as the need for digital financial services continues to grow .

At Jargon, Brace and Burstein have created a successful platform that enables corporate teams to create and operate chat and voice apps to tap into the growing conversation market. Developers were able to use jargon to structure and manage language content for services such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Rasa.
