“This year I decided to make sour cream and Grand Marier French toast. A great way is to heat it up on the stove and bake it in the oven at the last minute and it all gets hot at the same time.

For a hearty dish, it went a little more elegant: a smoked salmon bar. “It has all of the fixings that make it this beautiful display, but it’s all absolutely doable.”

And all that wonderful food goes well with a nice table. Hers is decorated with branches and glass tubs with vintage ornaments.
