Seattle-area startup Zenoti acquires salon management software maker SuperSalon

Seattle-based startup Zenoti has acquired SuperSalon, another company that develops software for salons and spas. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Raj Mahajan, CEO of SuperSalon, will become Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Zenoti. SuperSalon, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, will add 30 employees to Zenoti’s workforce, which includes approximately 800 people.

Zenoti’s business software is now used by more than 15,000 spas, salons and other wellness companies in 50 countries. Chains like European Wax Center, Hand & Stone, Massage Heights, Toni & Guy, Gene Juarez, and others use Zenoti’s software for everything from planning to payments to inventory. The company raised $ 80 million in June and $ 160 million in December, which Zenoti estimated at more than $ 1.5 billion.
