A bar in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood now requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the country.
CC posted on its Facebook page that the new policy will go into effect on May 22nd. The post pointed to the constant change in mask guidelines as the reason for the new guideline and said the changes “created confusion and frustration about what was right. ”
The bar said the policy protects staff and anyone who chooses to attend and provides an incentive to get vaccinated.
Customers must provide a copy or picture of their vaccination card with name and date that match their government issued ID.
“We understand that this can be inconvenient or controversial for some, but is safer for everyone in the long run,” the post reads.
