BELLEVUE, Wash. – The Seattle Humane Society said it was in dire need of donated food for its pet food bank.

The organization is struggling to fulfill requests due to delays in receiving the delivery order and is in dire need of canned wet and dog food and dry cat food.

A post on Twitter said the group is limited to just one pallet of dry cat food.

Seattle Humane said it can accept any type of wet dog and cat food, as well as dry cat food, although it receives many requests for grain-free food.

No prescription diet food is required.

The Seattle Humane Society said their pet food bank serves more than 900 customers and provides them with all types of feed.

Donations can be made to the Seattle Humane Society at 13212 Southeast Eastgate Way in Bellevue. There is a designated donation area on the lower parking level.
