Seattle Pride, organizers of the 2021 LGBTQIA + Virtual Pride Event (11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. June 26-27) has announced the full stage schedule for the two-day celebration, featuring a variety of speakers, performers, activities, and activism that reflect this annual resilience theme.
This year’s musical headliner is the Queen of Bounce Music, Big Freedia (featured in Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning single “Formation” and Drake’s “Nice For What”). The program also includes virtual music performances by special guest Mary Lambert (from Macklemore’s “Same Love” and her Billboard chart single “Secrets”), the soul-baring, emotionally lurid pop-rock musician Perfume Genius and the singer / songwriter and YouTube sensation mxmtoon ; as well as nationally recognized speakers, including the discussion by horror film lover Isabella Von Ghoul on Trans Identities in Horror Films, active soldier Dr. Ella Nunley-Spaights, speaking about the challenges facing lesbian seniors in the army, and Seeing Me with burlesque actress Miss Violet DeVille – Oh! Oh! I KNOW! A quiz show hosted by Betty Wetter, bedroom bingo hosted by Cookie Couture, and many family-friendly dishes.
Saturday, June 26th 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The virtual doors will open on Saturday at 10:45 am with DJ dark_wiley and the Seattle Pride program will begin with two tracks – one track will be an all-day livestream hosted by Betty Wetter, and a second track will be 30-minute and Hour-long recorded sessions with speakers from organizations such as Galvanizing a Global Movement to End “Conversion Therapy” by OutRight International, A Story of LGBTQ Resilience by GenPride: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow, Seattle Aces and Aros’ Aro / Ace and You Should Know and many more. The morning starts with kid-friendly programs including and Anyone Can Science with Romi and Story Time with Cookie Couture.
Other highlights are Oh! Oh! I KNOW! All day long there is a quiz show and bedroom bingo with special guests, as well as Making a Manila: Seattle’s Next Drag Diva, in which Aleksa Manila looks after a new drag queen on her very first debut.
The packed day of LGBTQIA + fun also features virtual music performances by headliners Big Freedia, special guest Mary Lambert, Perfume Genius and mxmtoon.

Sunday, June 27th 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday’s program will continue the weekend fun with two new tracks, one kicking off the day with a kid-friendly program, including Storytime with Cookie Couture and Washington Tooth Fairy’s Delta Dental. The show will also feature additional sessions, including Isabella Von Ghoul’s discussion of Trans Identities in Horror Films and Miss Violet DeVilles Seeing Me. The second track features reruns of Seattle Pride’s Pride Speaks! Lecture series on a range of LGBTQIA + topics such as homelessness, healthcare, economics and parenting.
The performance highlights of the second day include Simone Pin, Seattle Ladies Choir, Beauty Boiz, CarLarans and SassyBlack.

The two-day online event also features interactive, community-led sessions where attendees can join virtual rooms, with or without video, to share knowledge, play games, show off their pets, and decompress in one of our spoon rooms; One-on-one randomized video chats to meet other participants in Friend Match; and an interactive virtual booth area that allows attendees to visit a variety of local vendors, hear from elected officials and political candidates, visit other LGBTQIA + supporting businesses, and learn more about what other nonprofits and community organizations are promoting the LGBTQIA + rights do in the community.
