Storm fallout cancels Monday classes around the Sound – KIRO 7 News Seattle

The storm on Sunday and the expected strong wind on Monday have prompted schools to proactively cancel classes related to sound.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS

Bellevue school district: closed due to power outages, bus does not run. Median Elementary School only …. No school at Medina Elementary School for all grade levels.

Issaquah School District: Issaquah High, Issaquah Middle, Clark Elementary, Gibson Ek, ACT are closed on Monday due to a power failure.

– The King’s Schools in Seattle are closed on Monday due to power outages.

Lake Washington School District: Tesla STEM High School and Alcott Elementary are closed. No day care at these locations. All other schools open and operate at normal times.

North Beach School District: 2 hours late. Pacific Beach Elementary ONLY: Lights are back on! Thanks PUD. Start time at 11 a.m. Ocean Shores ES and North Beach MS / HS are on time !!! Pack up and stay safe / warm!

Northshore School District: Closed due to power outages. Cottage Lake, Hollywood Hill, Kenmore Elementary, Maywood Hills – NO pre or post school activities.

– Seattle Northwest School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing is closed due to power outages. All courses are canceled on Monday.

Ocosta school district: 2 hours late, no preschool in the morning

Ocean Beach School District: 2 hours late. No lesson at Ilwaco High School.

–The Olympia Waldorf School canceled classes. There is no kindergarten or pre-school, and all classes and aftercare are canceled on Monday.

Orting school district: closed due to power failure.

Rainier Christian School District: Rainier Christian Middle School and Rainier Christian High School closed. The shuttle pick-up for KVE elementary school students drives punctually at the camp site.

Snoqualmie Valley School District: Snoqualmie Elementary School – CLOSED due to power failure. No preschool, STREAM or catering services. More information here.

Toledo School District: All campuses closed. Power failure.
