Almost everyone has a soft spot for animals. Whether you are a cat or a dog, pets are the best, and they have helped many of us stay healthy over the last few years of the pandemic life. And now the Seattle Humane Society needs your help.

We promise this isn’t one of those Sarah Mclachlan SPCA commercials, the Seattle Human Society really needs your help. The organization is late in receiving their dog and cat food and urgently needs food donations for their pet food bank. The board serves over 900 customers who rely on their services to feed their pets in accordance with KIRO7.

“URGENT” We are having trouble fulfilling requests at our pet food bank as we are late in receiving our delivery orders. We urgently need cans of wet cat and dog food, and we only have one pallet of dry cat food bags left. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/XtAYM6qqrk

Part of the Twitter thread above is that the Seattle Humane Society can accept any type of wet cat and dog food, as well as dry cat food. They also state that the pet food bank receives a lot of requests for grain-free feed and that no prescription diet food is required. So if you have a few cans or bags left over, you should help the humane society so that it can continue its services.

If you’d like to make a donation, please make a donation to the Seattle Humane Society, 13212 Southeast Eastgate Way, Bellevue. There is a designated donation area on the lower level of the park, so be sure to go there. If you would like to learn more about the Seattle Humane Society, you can click here.
