The “Rave Green” announced last week that fans can now purchase single-game tickets for any of the remaining Sounders home slates. As a result, after the state reopens fully in June, Lumen Field and all Sounders games will be fully open and no vaccination certification will be required. Tickets can be bought online or by phone.
The fully open stadium will open with the Sounders game against the Houston Dynamo on July 7th. In addition to the expanded seating capacity and ticket sales, no proof of vaccination is required. Negative COVID-19 test results are also not required for children of vaccination age.
Seat availability is limited for each game and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets well in advance due to increased demand. In the coming months, some highly anticipated events are coming to Lumen Field, including the Portland double title. The OL Reign will face the Portland Thorns on August 29th, followed by a match between the Sounders and Timbers that evening.
In addition to single tickets, part-time tickets are again on sale. The club suggests two five-game packages, but more information on season ticket options can be found online.
The Sounders say some of the protocols adopted during COVID-19 will be retained. Lumen Field is a “no-touch venue” and improved cleaning practices are maintained. The club also mentions an improved food and drink experience.
