Nine days ago we brought you the first message about the new identity of West Seattle Bowl‘S Highstrike Grill – Three 9 lounge. We’ve since stopped by to peek inside while they finalized the furnishings and decor, right down to the glassware.
From the pineapple hanging lamp to the tinted windows, WS Bowl Manager Jeff Swanson told us they want a “warm” atmosphere.
With a high-tech touch – USB sockets under the bar, next to the wallet hook.
They will have seven signature cocktails and plan to offer 35 different rums from around the world. As for food, classic American dishes are still served in the bowling alley, while Three offers 9 island-style bites – from malasadas to lumpias to skewers. (You can see the menus on the website that just got started.) It seats 50, including huge cushioned corner cubicles at each end.
Three 9 opens on Thursday (October 28) and is open from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., 7 nights a week. 21+
