2:07 am: The fire is being fought by radio from both King County units and SFD – we are still waiting for a message from our crew regarding the specific location of the fire as the real-time log does not have “16th / Roxbury. ”
2:29 am: The local public information officer tells us it’s in the business building on the west side of the 16th, south of Roxbury. Still trying to determine which company (s).

2:37 am: Our photographer has confirmed the building that is holding LumberYard bar and Rat town tattoo is involved. We were told that an urban crew was on the scene first – Engine 11 (based in Highland Park) was a short distance north of a medical call on the 16th when someone walked up to them and told them there was a building in Flames.

3:10 am: The fire has not yet been fully extinguished – the fire brigade is still battling hotspots and trying to make sure the fire does not spread. No reports of injuries and it’s too early to investigate.

3:48 a.m.: Not out yet. Firefighters from several departments are still working on it from both sides of the building (16th and 17th). Note: This is a 2-alarm fire according to the Public Information Officer team.
4:32 am: LumberYard’s Instagram feed indicates that it was closed Sunday night due to a power outage. We don’t know any details about this failure, but they do City light The map shows 32 customers who are in this area due to the fire. This can affect businesses beyond those damaged by the fire itself. We will of course follow up.

10:37 ADDED: We went back this morning – the view above looks into the building from the alley side. Fire brigades are still there:

We spoke to Chef Mike Marrs of Fire District 2which includes the North Highline and Burien. The investigator finally broke into the building a few hours ago to try to determine the cause.

Other shops in the north were damaged – including broken glass. The firefighters were expected to be on site, with the 16th in that block being closed until noon. We’ll look again.
11:58 am: As linked in the comments, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched for LumberYard.
