The first autumn weekend is almost here! Here’s what you can do in the next few hours:

TASTE OF WEST SEATTLE: Third-last day of the week-long food distribution for the West Seattle Food Bank. 27 restaurants participate – partly with a percentage donation, partly with special menu items. The list of events and further information can be found here.

NAME CHANGE? The city council Land Use and Neighborhood Committee meets at 2 p.m. with the proposal to convert “single-family area” into “neighborhood residential area” under the agenda items, in which the commentary / observation is explained.

DUWAMISH RIVER RALLYE: 5-7pm at South Park Plaza (8456 Dallas Ave. S.).

FREE OUTDOOR FILM: Outside at dusk Mercy Church (10323 28th SW), everyone is welcome to watch “Secret life of pets,” for free.

TRIPLE INVOICE: Live music at The skylark (3803 Delridge Way SW) for 31 nights, Montlake Traffic and First Saint Street, 8 p.m.

LIVE MUSIC ON THE BEACH: 8:30 p.m. at J&J public house (2808 Alki SW), live music conducted by the Grammy winner Andrew Gouché. Cover 10 dollars.

ON THE BIG SCREEN: Music video on Fridays with VJ lace front, 9 p.m. at Admiral Pub (2306 California SW)
