An RV with a temporary plywood shack built on the streets of Seattle enraged neighbors as it suffers from the homeless epidemic.

According to KOMO-TV, residents of the Ballard area first noticed the rustic double-decker construction last week and feared that they could fall over from passing cars and pedestrians.

“This is called a hut,” explained a woman who lived in the classic Winevago F-17, the outlet and refused to answer any further questions.

Wealthy neighbors full of upscale bars and boutiques blame city guides for not addressing this problem as their streets are now lined with RVs and tented camps. Is called.

An RV parked on the streets of Seattle with a temporary plywood hut on it has enraged neighbors who fear pedestrians and cars collapsing structures.

“We believe they have more rights than we do. I mean, to go to our house (to add a story), we have a permit that you must have, ”said Nachbargasse Inbler-Blemner.

Imbler-Bremner reported a provisional two-story building to the town hall, but said he had not yet responded.

To make matters worse, city officials are apparently confused about who is in charge and what regulations unplanned construction work violates.

“As far as I know, I’ve never seen anything like it,” admitted a spokesman for the city’s Ministry of Transport.

Seattle is home to an estimated 2,700 vehicles and RVs, and last month the Washington Supreme Court practically banned the towing of vehicles for residential use.

The Seattle Times editors recently described the city’s dealings with people sleeping in cars as a “unique failure.”

Local residents (not the homeless) are being filmed at Mirror Playfield Park in March, despite a campground for the homeless at a residential park in Seattle.

Some business owners have blocked street parking lots with large stones and have been threatened with fines and charges by city officials.

In Ballard, local residents say RVs are lined up on either side of the road, like now, and are exempt from liability because they know they cannot tow.

The makeshift two-story building is located behind the busy Reuben’s Brew and Fremont Brewing Company neighborhood, surrounded by several residential areas.

“I want to go into town and say they have to tear it down,” shop owner Elise Vincentini told KOMO.

She said she was afraid that loose enforcement could lead other RV owners in the area to set up similar structures.

“To be honest, is it going to fall? Are we going to do something then? ”She asked.

Seattle has more than 11,700 homeless people. This is the third largest homeless person in the United States after New York City and Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, following a mass resignation from the military, the city suffers from an increase in violent crime and a severe shortage of police officers.

Over the past year, Seattle homicides rose 68%, with 52 killed in 2020 and 31 in 2019.

There have been 31 murders in the city so far this year, and Seattle is once again above 2019 levels.

The Seattle Police Department is still upset by a 17 percent budget cut after filing for police defense last year, with nearly 300 police officers stepping down in early 2020.

At a press conference on July 28th, Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan spoke of the crisis with the words:

“In the past 17 months, the Seattle Police Department has lost 250 police officers, which is more than 300,000 hours of service. We’re on the way to losing 300 cops. is.”

Last week, Darkan announced that all Seattle police officers needed the COVID-19 vaccine. This is an obligation that leads to further fears of dismissal.

According to the department, around 20% of the department’s 1,080 deployable officers have not yet been vaccinated.
