Beavers Set to Clash with Seattle on Friday

CORVALLIS, ore. – The Oregon State men’s soccer team will travel to Seattle, Washington to face Seattle University on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Live statistics will be available. The game will be broadcast on ESPN + as well as on the WAC Digital Network for international viewers.

Last time out

The Beavers traveled to Portland, Oregon for their first street game of the season, where the Portland Pilots finished 2-0 on September 3. Redshirt senior Tyrone Mondi scored a goal in the 31st minute and was assisted by junior Adrian Crespo. In the 43rd minute, Junior Sofiane Djeffal scored the beavers’ second goal without a template. Junior Adrian Fernandez scored two saves and recorded his 16th solo shutout of his career. Fernandez now holds the school record for career solo shutouts.

The Beavers returned to Lorenz Field on September 6th to host GCU and fell 1-0 to the Antelopes.

Last time against Seattle

Oregon State’s game against Seattle in the 2020/21 spring season has been canceled. The Beavers last met Seattle on September 27, 2015 and fell 2-1 to the Redhawks in Corvallis, Oregon. Timmy Mueller scored the Beavers’ only goal in the 77th minute of the regulations.

Seattle is 3-1-0 (0-0-0 WAC) this season. The Redhawks kicked off the season with a 1-0 win over Cal State Fullerton on August 26th and a 3-1 win over UC Davis on September 28th, before hitting 1 in double overtime on September 6th : Defeated 0 to No. 24 Duke defeat.
