“The restart of cruises in Alaska is having such a dramatic and far-reaching impact on the state, and on behalf of Carnival, I would like to thank our partners at the Port of Seattle and Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Dan Sullivan, and Representative Don Young personally for their tremendous dedication to the Making our resumption of service a reality. Also thanks to the Commerce Senate Chair Maria Cantwell and the entire Washington State Congressional Delegation for working closely with the Alaska Delegation and for providing first-hand evidence that the promotion of travel and tourism is truly a bipartisan matter. “

Carnival Miracle Captain Vito Giacalone added: “To say the last 16 months have been a challenge would be an understatement and we are delighted to welcome our guests back on board and give them the incredible Carnival vacation they have been waiting for to have. ”

The Carnival Miracle is the fourth ship in the line to return to hospitality following the resumption of service by Carnival Vista and Carnival Breeze from Galveston and Carnival Horizon from Miami. More ships will resume service in August and Carnival’s ships – more than half of the fleet – will be in service by mid-October.
