With new deals from Alaska Airlines and Southwest this week, it’s a great time to book flights from Seattle. Alaska Airlines and Delta are also celebrating the Seahawks with the football season officially on the calendar.

Alaska sale on Hawaii travel, new Russell Wilson livery, early boarding for guests wearing Wilson jerseys

Alaska wants diners to draw their eyes to $ 149 with a 3-day Hawaiian sale. Guests must book by 11:59 p.m. PST on September 16 to benefit from one-way rates starting at $ 149.

The tariffs apply to flight tickets between September 28 and March 10, 2022 with a 14-day advance booking requirement. The special rates apply to trips from Monday to Thursday. Seattle routes include $ 149 deals to Honolulu (HNL), Kauai (LIH), Kona (KOA), and Maui (OGG).

Passengers at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will also want to keep an eye out for a new Russell Wilson aircraft. This is Alaska Airlines’ fourth Russell Wilson livery, and the latest design features a larger than life Wilson.

“We are proud to honor the passion and dedication of our Chief Football Officer with this special aircraft, and we look forward to seeing him fly all season,” said Sangita Woerner, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Guest Experience at Alaska Airlines.

Seattle (SEA) and Everett (PAE) passengers wishing to get early boarding passes this football season can do so by getting a Russell Wilson No. 3 Wear a jersey or a limited edition Alaska Russell Wilson shirt (available from the Alaska Company Store). The promotion to celebrate Chief Football Officer Russell Wilson’s 2021 season allows guests to wear fan gear on all flights departing from Seattle and Everett for the duration of the football season.

“This early boarding experience is a great way to cheer our beloved Chief Football Officer Russell Wilson on,” said Woerner. “We can’t wait to see all of the No. 3 kits at Sea-Tac and Paine Field in the upcoming football season.”

Delta passengers collect bonus miles with the 12 status promotion throughout the season.

Delta increases miles for Seahawks fans

Delta has started its 12 status promotion again, offering a mile for every Seahawks shipyard this season. Guests must register at 12status.com in order to earn these bonus miles and qualify for additional freebies.

Upon registration, guests will receive a bonus mile for every yard the Seahawks throw in home and away games this season. No purchase is required, but registration for the new season is required.

Hawaiian Airlines releases new in-flight video

Hawaiian Airlines introduces a new in-flight video to educate passengers about responsible travel when visiting the islands. The 5-minute Travel Pono video features five Hawaiian Airlines crew members, including a firefighter, volunteer for search and rescue and marine mammal protection, and a cultural practitioner.

“We have been the hometown of Hawaii for over nine decades, and as residents of this special place, we pride ourselves on welcoming our guests with valuable information that will enrich their island experience while helping to preserve Hawaii’s natural resources and species protect lives, ”said Avi Mannis, senior vice president of marketing for Hawaiian Airlines.

In the new video, crew members share tips on sea safety and hiking, conservation efforts, and best practices in the community and culture.

Southwest fares start at $ 59

Book by September 27 to take advantage of the latest Southwest deals with one-way rates starting at $ 59. A 21-day advance booking with a valid travel date up to December 2021 is required. The sales prices apply to flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Examples of Seattle (SEA) fares include $ 59 one way to Oakland (OAK), $ 64 one way to Los Angeles (LAX), and $ 72 one way to Phoenix (PHX).
