Guests and crew must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have proof of vaccination at least 14 days prior to the start of the cruise.
SEATTLE – Holland America has announced that it will resume round-trip travel from Seattle to Alaska in July.
The cruise line made the decision based on recent CDC guidelines and the passage of the Alaska Tourism Restoration Act in the House and Senate. The law has yet to be signed by President Biden. The law allows cruise lines to travel between Alaska and Washington state.
The company will immediately begin the process of preparing to return to the cruise. The cruise line is still awaiting approval of cruise plans under the Passenger Vessel Services Act and final instructions from the CDC, according to the press release.
The cruise line offers ten Saturday departures between July 24th and October 2nd.
Guests must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have proof of vaccination at least 14 days prior to the start of the cruise. Crew members must be vaccinated on board ships in accordance with CDC guidelines.
The cruise line offers in-house dining as well as live entertainment.
Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruises also announced that they will resume cruises between Seattle and Alaska in July.
