Carnival, Holland America and Princess Cruises each start with a ship when the Alaska sailing season starts again. Specific details for dining, entertainment and shore excursions are currently being finalized and will be released to travelers in the coming weeks.
The newly announced Alaska cruises in the summer of 2021 will be available to guests with proof of vaccination. Guests must have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start of the cruise.
Carnival sailing begins on July 27th
Carnival Cruise Line will resume Alaskan cruises with round-trip flights to Seattle starting July 27, with weekly departures through September 14, 2021. These 7 day cruises operate aboard Carnival Miracle.
Each 7-day cruise includes ports of call in Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka, while an 8-day cruise starting September 14 also includes a visit to Icy Strait Point.
Carnival Miracle is a family-friendly option with the signature Carnival WaterWorks slides and water play area, while the ship’s Serenity Adult-Only Retreat area is dedicated to quiet adult fun in the sun.
Holland America cruises start July 24th
Holland America Line will resume cruises to Alaska with round-trip flights from Seattle from July 24th to October 2nd, 2021. The newly announced 7-day cruises will take place on board the Nieuw Amsterdam.
Celebrating nearly 75 years of sailing to Alaska, Holland America introduces vacationers to the glaciers and sheltered fjords of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. It also explores Alaska’s coastal cities such as Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka.
A new offer from Holland America is the Have It All premium package, which combines four of the cruise line’s most popular amenities at a 50% discount. Offerings include shore excursions, specialty restaurants, a special drinks package and a Wi-Fi package.
Princess Cruises itineraries begin July 25th
Princess Cruises is returning aboard the Majestic Princess on a 7-day round-trip from Seattle to Alaska with departures July 25 through September 26, 2021. Travelers sail to Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka, and visit Glacier Bay National Park.
“We have been working towards this point for over a year to get back on the road and it is incredibly exciting to start our Alaska cruise vacation,” said Jan Swartz, President of Princess Cruises.
