SINGULART, a digital platform with a mission to bring justice to the art market, has just released the results of a study it conducted on the top Instagram museums and galleries across the country.
To create the list, SINGULART analyzed Instagram hashtag data from the photo sharing application and the social network platform. By adding up the most popular hashtags, a top 12 list of museums and galleries with the most Instagram in the United States was found
In its research, SINGULART found that searches for “art museums near me” had increased by 100% in the past 12 months, leading researchers to believe that people are eager to rediscover their creative sides and Immerse yourself in art, history and more culture.
The Seattle Art Museum (SAM), with its three locations across Seattle including the main downtown gallery, the Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM), and the Olympic Sculpture Park, came in at number 11 on the list. The museum has been known as the center for world-class fine arts in the Pacific Northwest since 1933. The museum’s collections, installations, special exhibitions and programs feature art from around the world.
