In Seattle, naval architecture and shipbuilding firm Elliott Bay Design Group promoted John Reeves to principal in charge and Michael Complita to vice president of strategic expansion. The EMCDDA said these changes in its leadership team will come shortly after Robert Ekse’s appointment as president and reflect the company’s new vision. Reeves will oversee technical projects, provide guidance and technical support, and continue to serve as director of business development. Complita will lead the expansion of the service offering inside and outside the shipping industry. His initial focus will support the EMCDDA’s goal of promoting business opportunities that expand the reach of EMCDDA, Inc. and its family of companies. He will continue to act as the responsible client and will continue to be involved in monitoring engineering projects as well as in recruiting and training employees.
