‘Unruly’ passenger causes American Airways flight to cease in Seattle

An American Airlines flight to Dallas was rerouted this week due to an “unruly” passenger.

A spokesman confirmed to Fox News that American Airlines Flight 60, which was flying from Tokyo to Dallas, had a layover at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday.

An airline statement made available to Fox News said the plane was “hit by federal officials who removed an unruly customer from the flight” while landing in Seattle.

It is unclear what the passenger did to be considered “unruly”.

A spokesman for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport also confirmed the incident to Fox News, saying that federal authorities had responded to the incident. According to the airport spokesman, the plane was refueled after the passenger was removed and left soon after.

The plane arrived at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport at 5:39 p.m. CT.

A woman and her daughter were removed from the plane in Seattle, according to Seattle’s Q13 Fox. The station also reported that no one was injured or arrested.

Earlier this week, another flight had to be rerouted due to the behavior of a passenger. JetBlue flight 915, which was scheduled to fly from New York to San Francisco on Sunday, had to be rerouted to Minneapolis because of the passenger’s aggressive behavior, Fox News previously reported.

The passenger was later arrested on drug charges and is being held in Minneapolis on $ 30,000 bail, Fox reported Wednesday.
