West Seattle Blog… | TOMORROW: Taste of West Seattle week begins, with seven more participating establishments!

When we looked at the preview Taste of West Seattle last week – a weeklong diner-out perk for that West Seattle Food Bank‘s work to end hunger and prevent homelessness – 20 food and beverage companies participated. Now that The Taste starts tomorrow the list is up to 27!

During the week of Taste of West Seattle, Monday September 20 through Sunday September 26, participating organizations will either donate “a percentage of sales from a special“ Taste Menu ”created by the restaurant, or a percentage of sales “. Also, keep in mind that there may be more in it for you than knowing that you are getting great food / drink and doing a good deed – note that this is an update since our last preview:

All participating restaurants are listed in a restaurant pass. The more stamps / signatures someone gets on their card when ordering from participating restaurants, the more often they take part in the raffle. Each stamp = 1 drawing entry. We’ll select 5 winners for a $ 100 gift card to a West Seattle restaurant or Whole Foods. Customers must send / hand in their passport to the WSFB by October 3rd in order to be able to participate in the raffle.

Pick up your Taste Passport at one of the participating restaurants, the West Seattle Food Bank, or email your address to breanna.bushaw@westseattlefoodbank.org to have one sent to you.
